Blue Chip Juniors 2023

Welcome to the Blue Chip Juniors!

Blue Chip Juniors Teams,

On behalf of Kings Hammer Soccer Club, we would like to welcome you to Cincinnati for the 2023 Blue Chip Juniors. We are looking forward to a fun and competitive weekend of soccer!

The Blue Chip Juniors was designed to be a club-friendly event and an extension of our nationally recognized Blue Chip College Showcase (which brings in over 700 teams and 400 college coaches each year). Each year the Blue Chip Juniors hosts over 300 teams from OH, KY, IN, IL, MI, TN, WV, TX, CA, MO, FL, PA West, Canada to challenge themselves against the best competition.  This event also serves as a Premier SuperCopa Qualifier (top group for U9-U12’s) and SUPERCOPA+ Qualifier (top group for U13-U15’s) for teams who win the top flight of their age group.

In this guide, you will find all the information you need for this year’s event including links to schedules, facility maps, and local area attractions to visit while you are in town. Please take a moment to look through the guide. We also ask that you forward this link to all of your players and families, so they have this information for the weekend. The link is mobile friendly as well so they can pull it up on their phone and refer to it throughout the event.

Thank you for choosing the Blue Chip Juniors! We are excited about the great competition this year and look forward to hosting your team in Cincinnati!

Facilities

Parking

Voice of America Park: Please note that Voice of America Park has a new parking pass process. Please share this with everyone on your team to expedite receiving your pass when you arrive onsite. Everyone must purchase a pass and all passes must be purchased onsite at the event. There is no longer an option to purchase online in advance. Both cash and credit will be accepted. Passes are $8 per day or $15 for the two days. Passes will be available for purchase at both entrances to Voice of America. Please be patient as the parking staff work to get people their passes as quickly as possible. At no time may players exit cars and head to fields as this becomes a safety issue. To see a map of the complex, please click here.

Warren County Sports Park: Parking at the Warren County Sports Park is on a first come basis and there is no parking fee. We encourage everyone to review your field locations and the park map in advance and plan to enter the park at the gate closest to your location. Please note that due to a very large event nearby, there will be limited police monitoring the light at 741 as well as the entrance to the park. Please plan accordingly and give yourself extra time for getting to and entering the complex. If you are playing on Fields 1-4, enter at Gate 1 (1408 St. Rt. 741, Lebanon, OH 45036); Fields 5-12 should enter at Gate 2 (1408 St. Rt. 741, Lebanon, OH 45036); Turf Fields enter at Gate 3 or 4 (3021 Greentree Rd., Lebanon, OH 45036). Player drop-off on Rt. 741 or Greentree Rd. is strictly prohibited.

Team Check-In

Since team check-in took place online in advance, you do not need to check-in when you arrive at the fields.  However, please make sure to bring your player cards to each game.

Team Gifts

Please have one representative from your team (coach/manager) stop by the HQ tent at either Voice of America Park (located on the back side of the UC Fieldhouse) or Warren County Sports Park (located near Field 6) to pick up the team gifts.

Awards

Awards will be given to the champion and finalist in each division following each Championship match. Please send one representative to the HQ tent at either VOA (located on the back side of the UC Fieldhouse) or Warren County Sports Park (located near Field 6) to pick up your medals. If you are in a group of five, the top two teams will receive medals. Please stop by the HQ/Volunteer tent to see if you finished 1st or 2nd. If we are not yet able to determine this based on other games in your group still going on, we will notify you and mail you your medals if you placed 1st or 2nd in the division.

Veo Video Services

Kings Hammer and Veo have teamed up to provide an affordable and easy way to capture your games. This relationship will help enhance the overall experience for teams attending Blue Chip Juniors.

Veo is a portable automatic sports camera that films games and practices without the need for a camera operator. No need to carry around bulky equipment or film from your phone. Simply turn the camera on, connect to your smart device, hit record, then sit back and enjoy the game!

Kings Hammer understands the importance of video, not only for future collegiate athletes but for lifelong memories to look back on. For more information on how to purchase your Veo at a discounted rate, please visit our Veo tent.
