Welcome 2025 Volta Cup Teams,
On behalf of Kings Hammer SBD, we would like to welcome you to the Cincinnati Area for the 2025 Volta Cup. We are pleased to announce that we have a record number of 169 teams registered from 28 clubs this year with teams traveling from Nashville, TN, Elizabethtown, KY and Evansville, IN. We will utilize two facilities over the weekend to accommodate these record numbers. The Volta Cup is a great winter Futsal event for all levels of teams. Whether you participate in a Futsal League or are just putting a team together to come out and play, this will be a FUN event for all teams involved. Our goal with this tournament is to give your team a fun and competitive weekend of fast-paced futsal. Teams will play 5v5 which includes a goalkeeper. Played on small-sized courts, teams can work on spacing, passing, defensive positioning, and footwork flair.
In this event guide, you will find all the information you need for this year’s event including links to schedules, facility maps, and local area attractions to visit while you are in town. Please take a moment to look through the guide. We also ask that you forward this link to all of your players and families, so they have this information for the weekend. The link is mobile friendly as well so they can pull it up on their phone and refer to it throughout the event. Awards
Champion and Finalist/Runner Up medals will be issued to the TOP TWO Teams in each Division. Those will be determined after your team qualifies and competes in the Championship Match. If you are in a group of 5, the champion and finalist will be determined once all games are complete. All awards can be picked up at the headquarters table located at each facility. Please send ONE representative (preferably Coach or PA) to the headquarters table to collect medals. There will be a separate area set aside with banners for teams to take pictures.
Athletic Trainers
A Trainer will be located at Queen City Sports Complex throughout the weekend in case your child needs to be evaluated for an injury.
Weather Updates
In the event of inclement weather, we will update our website with details. If anything changes from a weather standpoint for the weekend, we will inform all Coaches and Team Managers as listed in the GotSport system. Please make sure to update your team contact information if you have not already done so.
Facilities
Games will be played between two facilities in greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
- The first and main facility is Queen City Sports Complex located at 10765 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. Click here to view the QCS facility map.
- The second location is Town & Country Athletic Center located at 106 Crossing Drive, Wilder, KY 41076. Town & County Athletic Center will have an entrance fee of $8 per day for adults, $5 per day for seniors and students/children. Under 5 are FREE. Please also note, they do NOT accept cash payments. Card or Apple Pay only.
- There will be concession stands open at both Queen City Sports Complex and Town & Country Athletic Center. You are also encouraged to pack or visit any of the various local establishments for majority of your food and beverage needs.
Event Merchandise
Apparel will be available at both Queen City Sports Complex and Town & Country Athletic Center on limited hours. Please watch for daily updates throughout the weekend with operating times and tournament promotions.
