Battle in the Bluegrass Teams,
Hello and welcome to the 2025 Battle in the Bluegrass!
Kings Hammer SBD is excited to welcome teams from Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee and Kentucky. The Battle in the Bluegrass provides participating teams with an opportunity to start your Fall Season providing early season opportunities to play multiple games in one weekend.
In this event guide, you will find all the information you need for this year’s event including links to schedules, facility maps, and local area attractions to visit while you are in town. Please take a moment to look through the guide. We also ask that you forward this link to all your players and families, so they have this information for the weekend. The link is mobile friendly as well so they can pull it up on their phone and refer to it throughout the event. We hope you have a chance to enjoy all that Elizabethtown have to offer while you are here.

Important links
Awards
Awards will be given to the Champion and Finalist in each of the divisions after the Championship Match. Please send one representative from your team to the Event Tent by Field 5 at the conclusion of your Championship Match to collect awards (we will have a Kings Hammer SBD staff at Fields 10 & 11 for those finals).
Athletic Trainers
Trainers will be located at Elizabethtown Sports Park throughout the weekend in case your child needs to be evaluated for an injury. They will be positioned on each side under event tents. If a player should need any pregame taping it is the player/team’s responsibility to provide necessary supplies and it will be at the trainer’s discretion on whether they will be attending to preventative measures.
Weather Updates
In the event of inclement weather, we will inform all Coaches and Team Managers as listed in the GotSport system. Please make sure to update your team contact information if you have not already done so.
Facilities
All games will be played at Elizabethtown Sports Park:
Fields 1-9 are together on one side and Fields 10 & 11 are across the street. There are parking lots for both sections.
Event Merchandise
Apparel will be set up at the Simax Sports Merchandise Tent at Elizabethtown Sports Park located in front of Field 5 by the Main Concession Building. If you prefer to skip the lines, you can order ahead at the following link: Battle in the Bluegrass – Kings Hammer Shop
Your items will be available for you to pick up at the merchandise tent anytime during their operating times.
