Hello and welcome to the 2026 Battle in the Bluegrass!
Kings Hammer SBD is excited to welcome over 60 teams to compete in the Battle in the Bluegrass. Battle in the Bluegrass provides participating teams with early season opportunities to play multiple games in one weekend.
In this event guide, you will find all the information you need for this year’s event including links to schedules, facility maps, and local area attractions to visit while you are in town. Please take a moment to look through the guide. We also ask that you forward this link to all your players and families, so they have this information for the weekend. The link is mobile friendly as well so they can pull it up on their phone and refer to it throughout the event. Important links
Awards
Awards will be given to the Champion and Finalist in each of the divisions after the Championship Match. Please send one representative from your team to the Kings Hammer SBD tent by Field 5 at the conclusion of your Championship Match to collect awards. There will be banners available to take pictures.
Athletic Trainers
Trainers will be located at Elizabethtown Sports Park throughout the weekend in case your child needs to be evaluated for an injury. We will have a marked medic tent present, but they may be out on the fields assisting another player. Any Kings Hammer SBD staff at the HQ tent can help contact them if they need immediate attention. If a player should need any pregame taping it is the player/team’s responsibility to provide necessary supplies and it will be at the trainer’s discretion on whether they will be attending to preventative measures.
Weather Updates
In the event of inclement weather, we will inform all Coaches and Team Managers as listed in the GotSport system. Please make sure to update your team contact information if you have not already done so.

All games will be played at Elizabethtown Sports Park: 1401 West Park Road, Elizabethtown, KY 42701
Event Merchandise
Apparel will be set up at the All Star Outfitters (ASO) next to the Main Pavilion by Field 5 on the same side as the parking lot. If you prefer to skip the lines, you can order ahead by clicking the button below. Your items will be available for you to pick up at the merchandise tent anytime during their operating times.
