Halloween Havoc 2024

Welcome to Halloween Havoc 2024

Halloween Havoc Teams,

On behalf of Kings Hammer SBD, we would like to welcome you to the Cincinnati Area for the 2024 Cincinnati Halloween Havoc. The Halloween Havoc is a fun and unique event that allows teams to play in a minimum 3 match event while incorporating fun elements of Fall and Halloween throughout the weekend.  We are particularly excited about and encourage your teams to participate in our Halloween Costume Contest. Be creative and really scare to the socks off of your competition.

In this event guide, you will find all the information you need for this year’s event including links to schedules, facility maps, and local area attractions to visit while you are in town. Please take a moment to look through the guide. We also ask that you forward this link to all of your players and families, so they have this information for the weekend. The link is mobile friendly as well so they can pull it up on their phone and refer to it throughout the event. We hope you have a chance to enjoy all that Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky have to offer while you are here.

We look forward to hosting you at this year’s 2024 Halloween Havoc and are excited to see all of your ghoulish creativity while playing the sport we all love!

Facility

All games will be played at Warren County Sports Park: Address to Fields 1-12 use:1408 OH-741, Lebanon, OH 45036. Fields 1-4 should enter Gate 1 and Fields 6-12 can enter using Gate 2. Address to Fields 15-18 use: 3021 Greentree Road, Lebanon, OH  45036.  If you are playing on Fields 15 and 16, please use Gate 3 for entering and exiting the facility. If you are playing on Fields 17 or 18, please use Gate 4 when entering and exiting the complex. It is imperative that you DO NOT WALK or warm up on the new grass fields next to fields 15 and 16 on your way to your game or prior to it. They will be marked to stay off the fields.

Team Check-In

Since team check-in took place online in advance, you do not need to check-in when you arrive at the fields.  However, please make sure to bring your player cards to each game.

Athletic Trainers

Trainers will be located at the Warren County Sports Park throughout the weekend in case your child needs to be evaluated for an injury. Please locate the medical tents on site for all of your trainer needs throughout the weekend.

Weather Updates

In the event of inclement weather and there needs to be an update to field or game status, event staff will notify all teams via the GOTSPORT communication system. Please make sure that all manager and coach information is up to date in the system. 

Awards

Champion and Finalist/Runner Up Medals will be issued to the TOP TWO Teams in each Division.  Those will be determined AFTER your team qualifies and competes in the Championship Match.  IF your team is in a Group of 5, the top two teams in the bracket will be awarded medals. We will do our very best to get those to you while still at the complex, however, there may be a situation that another game in your bracket will still need to be played in order to determine Champion and Finalist. All awards can be picked up at the Headquarters tent.  Please send ONE representative (preferably Coach or PA) to the Headquarters tent to collect Medals. There will be a separate area set aside with banners for each to take pictures. 

Halloween Costume Contest

We are really excited about the Halloween Costume contest for this weekend and encourage your teams to participate! Email communication regarding rules and information on the costume contest were sent out to team managers and coaches in previous communications. Be creative, have fun, and get the full team and parents involved! 

How it works:

   Every Team playing in the 2024 Halloween Havoc is eligible to enter.

  • To officially enter the contest, teams will need to visit the HQ tent by Field 6 in their costumes and get their photo taken. This must be done on Saturday prior to 5 pm.
  • Some props will be available for use if you choose.
  • Coaches, parents, siblings and general fans are encouraged to participate with you! 

Rules:

  • At least HALF of your team should be in (AGE appropriate) costumes. Again, coaches are strongly encouraged to participate.
  • Players may wear their costume shirt/short/socks during games. Shirts must have a number on them.
  • All accessories must be removed for games.

Judging:

Teams will be judged on the following:

  • Creativity
  • Originality
  • Presentation
  • Sideline participation

Winners:

Winners will be surprised with a visit to their field during their Sunday morning game. At the conclusion of your game you will be awarded with a 2024 Halloween Havoc Costume Contest prize. We look forward to hosting another GREAT event and are excited to see all of our creative participants!  

Event Merchandise

You can purchase event merchandise at Warren County Sports Park, near fields 8-10 and fields 17a/17b. Look for the large white tent marked “merchandise” with a prominent flag in front. Merchandise will be available from 8 AM to 5 PM on both days. Don’t miss the chance to check out this season’s unique designs and exciting new upgrades to the shirts and sweatshirts!

Concessions

There will be concession stands open at the Warren County Sports Park on limited hours. There will also be Toms Coffee truck on limited hours throughout the weekend. You are also encouraged to visit any of the various local establishments for the majority of your food and beverage needs while attending the event.
