Hello and Welcome to the 2025 Hopewell Cup!
Kings Hammer SBD is excited to welcome all teams to the Hopewell Cup. We’re delighted to bring you this event for an amazing weekend of action-packed soccer. This event provides participating teams another great opportunity to hone in their team skills as Fall has kicked off!
In this event guide, you will find all the information you need including links to schedules, facility maps, and local area attractions to visit while you are in town. Please take a moment to look through the guide. We also ask that you forward this link to all your players and families so they have this information for the weekend. The link is mobile friendly as well so they can pull it up on their phone and refer to it throughout the event. We hope you have a chance to enjoy all that Newark has to offer while you are here.

Awards
Awards will be given to the Champion and Finalist in each of the divisions after the Championship Match. Please send one representative from your team to the awards tent (marked by the red or green awards flag) located near the NASA Building at the conclusion of your Championship Match to collect awards. There will be back drops and banners available to take pictures.
Athletic Trainers
Trainers will be located at Alford Reese Park throughout the weekend in case your child needs to be evaluated for an injury. They will be positioned throughout the park under event tents with “Medical” flags next to them. If a player should need any pregame taping it is the player/team’s responsibility to provide necessary supplies and it will be at the trainer’s discretion on whether they will be attending to preventative measures.
Weather Updates
In the event of inclement weather, we will inform all Coaches and Team Managers as listed in the GotSport system. Please make sure to update your team contact information if you have not already done so.
Facilities
All games will be played at Newark Alford Reese Park located at 600 Baker Blvd, Newark, OH 43055.

**There is a single entrance and exit at a stop light. When entering the facility please do not stop for drop off as this could create a backlog and traffic jam.
Parking is very tight so there will be volunteers directing cars into the facility and into parking spots. REMINDER: Make sure you pull your car up into the grass and all the way to the fence line so you do not block the drive. Cars will park parallel on the right side as you enter. Cars will park in normal spots (i.e. side by side) on the left side as you enter. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation.
Event Merchandise
Apparel will be set up at the Fine Designs Merchandise Tent at Alford Reese located by the NASA building.
